Linda Zahavi Art Therapist and Counsellor Lake Oswego, Oregon

Linda is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, Board Certified Art Therapist, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Spiritual Director, and a Reiki Master.

I began work in the mental health field in 1989 as a Mental Health Supervisor at Janus Youth Programs, first in residential then in outpatient. The outpatient then became part of Morrison Center. After 10 years or so I began private practice with adults, teens and preteens. I have extensive experience in Buddhist meditation which included facilitator training with Jon Kabat-Zin in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I have a strong yoga background as well. I completed a leadership training, Kol Zimra, with Rabbi Shefa Gold in 2005 and have an ongoing chant group.
